Another eventful day here in Upper Mount Bethel Township. Your North Bangor Firefighters started their day off with 2 calls for service along River Rd. After picking up from those calls, we headed over to Camp Charles Campgrounds for their annual 5k! Yesterday evening for drill your North Bangor Firefighters reviewed vehicle stabilization. Utilizing standard cribbing along with Junkyard Dog Industries - a division of ESI Equipment rescue struts and side winders, members were able to effectively and efficiently stabilize the vehicle so that it would not move during the extrication of victims and patients.

Tuesday evening (4/22/2025) as part of a DCNR Wardens Crew 6 firefighters from North Bangor and Liberty Fire Company #2 responded to the Packerton Fire in Jim Thorpe, PA.

Crews arrived at 7pm at the command center and received a briefing of the fire and given responsibilities for the evening. Our crews were relieved at 5am and firefighters were home at 7:30 this morning.
