2nd Alarm Box Upgraded from AFA

Just after 9pm on July 14th, stations 37 and 39 were dispatched for an AFA at a commercial structure. Upon arrival deputy 37 had smoking showing and upgraded the call to a working fire. Chief 39 conducted a 360 and found heavy fire coming from the Charlie side of the structure, with this information command struck the 2nd alarm. Engine 3911 staffed with 4 laid in from the front of the structure and assumed first due engine responsibilities. A quick knock was made on the fire by crews from 37 and 39. Truck 3321 laddered the structure to provide vertical ventilation for crews inside. Crews cleared the scene around midnight.
