Your North Bangor Firefighters are extremely happy to announce that we've received not 1 but 2 separate grants recently that allowed us to purchase over $10,000 worth of equipment!

First, we'd like to thank Helmets Off 4 David and the Kelbe Foundation for awarding us a grant that allowed us to purchase a new Super Vac PPV fan that will be placed on our engine.

Second, we'd like to thank that the Wawa Foundation for awarding us a grant to purchase 10 Petzl EXO Firefighter Bailout Kits. These kits will be given out to 10 interior firefighters and while we hope they never have to use them, in the event that a fire becomes overwhelming and their ability to exit a structure is cut off, this equipment provides an immediate option to assist in "bailing" out of a window.

Lastly, We'd like to thank Firefighter One and Kevin McCullough for working with us on pricing and delivery of this equipment and making the purchases fast and easy!
